Suzie Delve Psychotherapy
Psychotherapist in Bristol (she/her)
There are many reasons you may begin Psychotherapy, perhaps you are noticing unhelpful patterns in the way you are thinking and feeling or interacting with others. Maybe you need support following a traumatic event in your life or to process the effects of a difficult childhood or later relational trauma.

Therapy can provide a place to be heard without judgement or unhelpful advice. A space in which you can be free to explore the ways in which you think and feel and any distress you may be experiencing.
I practice Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy, if you would like to read more about this approach then please follow the link below
This way of working allows me to approach sessions in a creative way that brings together several different approaches. My interests include Somatics or working with bodily sensations and individual relational patterns, highlighted through Gestalt and Intersubjective Systems approaches (what your experience of the world and relationships has been and how that has affected you)
The aim of psychotherapy is not to offer quick fixes or to change who you are, rather it focuses on acceptance and understanding of your experience and individuality helping you to navigate the challenges that life & relationships can bring.
About Me
I'm Suzie Delve, an experienced Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist in my 5th year of training and my 3rd year of private practice working with a range of clients. My priority is to work collaboratively to understand and process what you are bringing to your sessions.

My belief is that working together with another individual with whom you feel safe and heard can be transformative in learning about yourself, seeing things more clearly, improving the relationship to yourself and to others.
I have worked as a Therapist for all ages at Weston College Counselling Service and as a volunteer at a mental health crisis centre in Weston. Prior to training I spent 15+ years working in Public & Not for Profit Sector with young people with disabilities and neurodivergence and later with older adults in community settings.
I am grounded in the realities of oppression and inequality, passionate about social justice and naming the negative impact society or those around us can have on the sense of self. I describe myself as a neurodiversity affirming therapist, am neurodivergent myself & will work with you to face particular challenges you may have experienced in this area.
I am also trained as a Yoga, Tai Chi and Specialist exercise instructor & have an interest in the physical impacts of trauma on the body.
As a 5th Year MA Psychotherapist in training I am able to offer sessions at a reduced rate.
